This Christmas, the Chilo Foundation and Calvary Chapel The Barn are thrilled to host a very special #ChiloKids Christmas Celebration—a day designed to fill the hearts of foster children with joy, laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
On December 6th, we will be taking a group of children currently living in foster care to a roller skating rink for a fun-filled Christmas event. For many of these children, the holidays can be a painful reminder of loss, instability, or separation from family. Our mission is to step into that space with the love of Christ—offering comfort, hope, and moments of pure childhood joy.
And this year, we want to invite you to be part of that miracle.
A Day Filled With Joy, Music, and Memories
Our upcoming roller-skating Christmas event will include:
Skating & Games – A chance for the kids to laugh, play, and experience the freedom of being a kid again.
Music & Christmas Cheer – Uplifting music, fun energy, and an atmosphere that celebrates the joy of the season.
A Catered Meal – A warm, delicious lunch where kids and volunteers can gather around the table like family.
Gifts for Every Child – Personalized Christmas gifts to remind each child that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.
A Message of Hope – A simple, compassionate presentation of the gospel—sharing the story of Jesus’ love and His promise that they are not alone, they have purpose, and they are precious in His sight.
Our prayer is that every child leaves this event knowing that God loves them, that people care about them, and that their story is not over.

Many of the children we serve have walked through trauma that no child should ever experience. Holidays can intensify feelings of loneliness or uncertainty. That’s why events like this are so powerful.
